Caribbean Yoga Conference– Annual yoga conference and festival in Montego Bay, Jamaica. They offer scholarships and volunteer opportunities. I attended in 2013 and wrote this post about it.



New Life Foundation – a community in Northern Thailand where you can participate as a resident, guest or volunteer in mindful healing for addiction, stress, burnout, relationship issues or abuse

Spicy Villa– Eco-tourism center in the mountains of Northern Thailand where you can stay as a guest or volunteer. I was a couchsurfer/volunteer for a week here and enjoyed beautiful views and great authentic Northern Thai food with hill tribe people.


Samaya Ashram– a spiritual commune/meditation retreat in New South Wales, Australia where volunteers and residents in ‘meditation in action’. I spent two weeks here and wrote this post about it.
