While backpacking around Southeast Asia, someone told me “As travelers move from place to place, there is often a lag between the arrival of the physical body and the soul

This blog is about the journey of the traveler and the soul which follows them. It is about the magic that is experienced inside-out when we step out of our ordinary lives, become nomadic, and discover the world.

My mission is to encourage traveling in a way that promotes holistic travel experiences; traveling with awareness of both your physical surroundings and inner journey.

In my five year yoga journey I have found  yoga to be an unfailingly abundant source of inspiration. It amazes me how yoga somehow connects and works as a metaphor for just about everything in the Universe. This is a blog about my personal yoga journey, yoga happenings around the world, and the lessons yoga teaches us.

I’m a native new yorker, writer, world wanderer, word-lover, and love-lover.

I’m currently between travels, living in New York, developing this website and other portable skills like teaching yoga so I can become a full-time nomad and travel the world indefinitely.

My travel writing has also appeared on BootsnAll, Art of Backpacking, and The Kay Days

    • Thanks so much! I appreciate this acknowledgment 🙂 So, I tried tracing back where this award originated, and if there’s actually going to be a winner of this award, but all I am finding is a long chain of other bloggers who have nominated each other. Do you happen to know anything more? Maybe it’s just about spreading sunshine and acknowledgment, and that’s cool too! Let me know if you know, please 🙂

      • I did the same thing, and I couldn’t find anything either! I guess it’s about exactly what you said; spreading positivity and acknowledgement. Which is nice! So, let’s enjoy it 🙂

  5. I have nominated you for a Versatile Blogger Award. Congrats! Please see my homepage to find out how to accept the award and pass it onto fellow bloggers.
